Epoxy resins

Epoxy resins are generally used where low weight, high strength and stiffness are important. The major advantages of epoxy resins are:

• Outstanding adhesion to a wide range of reinforcements available (glass, carbon, aramid, hybrid …)
• Great thermal, mechanical and chemical resistance (depending on the system used)
• Wide range of physical properties available allowing epoxy resin to be suitable for almost all existing processes
• Very low emission in contrast to polyester resins

These resins can be used for hand lay-up or spray-up processes as well as for pultrusion, filament winding, infusion or casting.
