Structural foam

In order to produce sandwich material with a predefined thickness, structural foam is used as core material. A wide range of material is currently used and will be chosen depending on the project specific criteria:

  • PVC foam: thickness from 3 to 75 mm density from 40 to 250 Kg/m³
  • Polyurethane (PUR) foam: thickness from 3 to 50 mm density from 35 to 320 Kg/ m³
  • Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) foam: thickness from 3 to 60 mm density from 60 to 200 Kg/ m³
  • Polymethacrylimide (PMI) foam

Foams can have different finishing depending on the part you produce and the manufacturing method used:

  • Perforated
  • Grooved
  • Contour cut
  • With a scrim
